Q: I have a big head, would this mask be good for me if not can you tell me mask that is with thermal lens ?

Good all-round mask! Review by Rob

I've been using this for a month or 2 now, and hence can give it a proper review:

- Easy to change lenses
- Thermal is rather good! I've had no problems with misting or fogging (even when it was raining and I was sweating)
- The fit is very good, and it provides good head protection if you're not used to getting shot there. (that being said, it took a hit to my ear very well)

Overall, if you're thinking about buying a mask, and you don't have enough money for a set of Dye i4's, get these ones - they are good, provide a large field of vision and cheap. When you have £100 burning a hole in your pocket, (i.e after you have tank, marker, pods, pack, lube, squeegies, playing pants, jersey and everything else) then go get a set of i4's (Posted on 28/12/2011)

Q: I last put a review on about this mask. I have recently changed my mind in this. I am a paintball marshal and will use this at the most for about 45 mins at a time. And even then i am standing still. The mask managed to fog inbetween the two lenses within half an hour. The just paintball guys said this was because of bad ventilation on the mask. Would not recomend if using for more than half an hour then dont buy this mask.

A: If it's fogging in between the lenses, please contact us, this shouldn't happen. The thermal seal might be damaged. (Posted on 06/11/2011)

What a mask Review by Harry Delta force marshal

Got the mask and had a good afternoon of play. Was playing in thich woods for a bout 3 hours and on a 25 degree c day. No steaming or misting. Mask is realy comfy and keeps the face quite cool. Easy to change lens means i can change the lens out for a new one if needed. Altogether great mask for any use. (Posted on 03/09/2011)

Q. What's the difference between the clear and coloured/tinted lenses. I'd like a dark coloured or tinted lens but would this not restrict my sight compared with the clear lens?

For lens:

Clear: Normal colour
Yellow lens: Better for low light visibility, recommanded for woodsball
Smoke: Better when a bit sunny , recommendded for outside
Mirror: Darker than smoke, good for outside, not recommended for indoor, or woodalls. (Posted on 01/10/2010)

Q. i recieved my mask the other day, looks great in the black but i am thinking of maybe painting it to customise it slightly, is there any paint you would recommend or would painting it damage the plastic? thanks

A: Painting should not damage the plastic as long as you use an appropriate plastic paint - try a model shop for paint :)
