Q: Hey
What's better for a beginner who isn't looking to upgrade? BT-4 or tippmann 98?
Also does the fact it's ex site have any effect on their performance?
Do they work better on air or co2?

A: BT-4 are better than Tippmann 98 (easier to upgrade).
Ex-site mean they will have scratch and only 1 month warranty, instead of 1 year.
For a first marker, I would recommend getting one new.

Q:Which is better this or the Piranha?
Much appreciated.
A: They are different. The 98 can be upgraded while the piranha can't. But the piranha is a lot lighter and offer same performances out of the box. (Posted on 02/06/2011)
