I use this mask with a tinted lense, its never let me down so far and although I do have a fan I've never needed to use it... also its got good head coverage yet hugs the face allowing you to still aim down sights if you use them and take it from me, if you get shot you wont feel a thing!

The only issues I've encountered is firstly I disliked the original lense as it fogged however I believe its possible I ruptured the seal between the inner and outer lenses quite badly. Also the difficulty taking out and putting in new lenses is painful and frustrating, damage to the lense is likely if your not VERY careful with this mask

Overall though its worth the inconvenience of lense switching and you will likely need to do this

I bought this mask thinking it was great, the reviews were positive and most importantly it was "thermal" so it would not fog up, within 15mins of wearing it i could not see a thing, it completely steamed up and i didnt even start the 1st game properly, to make things worse it was not on the inside or outside lens, it was in-between the two lens so i could not even wipe it or add and anti fog spray, it got so bad that i had to take my mask to the car and use the paintball sites crappy masks, and they did a better job than this mask, complete waste of money and i will be seeking a refund

Mod comment: It sounds like you have a problem with your lense - the membrane between the lenses does wear out over time leading to the problems that you have described however this is usually after like a year and the lense needs replacing well before then. It sounds like you have a faulty mask as they are usually very good. Give us a call with your order reference number etc and we will get it sorted for you. (Posted on 28/02/2010)

Q: I want a mask that covers your whole head....and one that doesn't steam up because when i went paintball the other day...i was literally running around blind. So i want to know is this the best one to get or is there any better ones because i seriously can't stand the ones they give you on the day. Please write back

Q: roughly, how many of these maks do you have in stock. Im thinking of ordering the mask with the 'bt combat jersey' and the 'bt combat pants'. thats what i call a milsim look. lol.

Q: Does the camo version of this mask come with the back plate featured in the black versions picture?
The angle that the camo version is at in the picture doesnt show whether it includes the back plate very clearly and id just like to be sure before ordering
